Due to the forecast for severe weather this afternoon, the following changes have been made to the plans for Promenade and Prom:
Promenade will be postponed until 6:15 PM.
The car procession/parade for the Promenade is canceled.
Students are to gather in the High School Commons between 6:00-6:15 PM.
Parents, families, and community members will be seated in the high school gymnasium starting at 6:00 PM. Students will promenade into the gym starting at 6:15 PM.
Students will load the buses at 6:45 PM to travel to the Prom venue in Andover for supper and the dance.
This plan will be reviewed at 5:00 PM and if weather dictates, additional changes will be made. Please remain weather aware today.
Due to the forecast for potential severe weather for Saturday, April 27, the district has developed alternative plans to put into place if necessary for Promenade, Prom, and After Prom. Please stay weather aware tomorrow. Both the district and the Prom venue have storm shelter availability. Any changes to the scheduled events will be communicated through our district Facebook page and district parent alert system.

A group of Udall sophomores and seniors took a trip to the Cowley County Courthouse this morning. Their tour of the various departments and services the county provides included time to speak with juvenile intake and intervention/truancy officers, a county attorney and district judge, as well as emergency management and dispatch personnel. Besides getting to ask each person several questions, they also got to witness a live medical emergency call come into the dispatch center.
