The Udall FFA state land team competed at the FFA State Land Judging competition in Fairfield yesterday. The team placed 2nd overall. The team consisted of Gabe Richards, Ella Myers, Adrean Duncan who placed 10th and Casadee Smith who placed 4th. Students had to grade the ability in tracts of land using skills in slope, erosion, soil depth, permeability and runoff. Once graded. students then had to identify mechanical practices to put in place and fertilizers needed to get the best production out of the land. #EagleStrong!
